We are seeking Truck/Tractor Trailer Drivers to join our team of driving professionals with Pro-Ex Transport Inc. We are currently looking for a part-time driver to assist do a daily run from Port Hawkesbury to Halifax, the ideal candidate would be from the Port Hawkesbury area. This position will appeal to reliable, self-motivated team players with a strong work ethic and the availability to work flexible hours.

At Pro-Ex Courier, a division of the Pike Group we are proud of our long and successful history within the transportation industry. As a contracted mail carrier for Canada Post since 1984, we have been entrusted with the important work of delivering mail and parcels throughout Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and New Brunswick.

The position requires the ability to:

· Load and unload packages to a Max of 65 LBS

· Oversee the condition of the vehicle.

· Perform daily pre-and post-trip inspections.

· Other duties as assigned.

To be successful in the role, the candidate must meet the following requirements:

· Possess a valid Class 1 & 3 driver's license.

· Have a clean driving abstract.

· Have at least 2 years of driving experience.

· Demonstrate an excellent safety record.

· Possess efficient, reliable, and professional customer service skills.

· Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Must be bondable.

Looking for reliable driver for 3 days a week to deliver and pick up mail from Port Hawksbury to Halifax and back again. Driver has to have a good drivers abstract and Code of Conduct. You have to have Air Brake endorsement on your Class 5 Licences. This job is paid on a day to day rate which will be discussed in private with New Driver. It is a night time route.
