One of our favourite things about The Trinity is that every space was designed to encourage people to slow down.

From the fully equipped eat-in kitchen, to cozy corners for reading, coffee, conversation, and quiet evenings by the wood stove ... this place was made for unwinding.

It’s hard to believe this is the same space 💙

The first photo was taken just before we purchased the church.

At that point, it was still mostly an empty shell. Original woodwork, stained glass, soaring ceilings … and a whole lot of imagination.

A few years later, it became this.

We added the loft bedroom, transformed the space into a vacation rental, and tried our best to preserve the warmth and character that made us fall in love with it in the first place.

And … that little structure with the coral door? 😂 That’s actually the bathroom entrance.

Somehow it became one of the quirkiest little features in the whole place!

Some of our favourite details here at the Trinity are the ones with a story behind them 💙

We've collected a few coasters over the years (maybe a few too many 😅), but these pressed floral ones might be our new favourites!

These beautiful coasters were handcrafted locally, and they’ve quickly become one of those little touches our guests always notice.

There’s just something special about pieces made by hand … you can feel the care in them.

We love being able to include work from local makers throughout The Trinity ... it adds so much character to the space, and supports the creativity right here in our own province.

This place used to be a church… ⛪️

And for a time, it just sat here. Quiet, a little forgotten.

The kind of space people pass by without really seeing anymore.

But the moment we stepped inside, it didn’t feel empty to us.

It felt … full. Of history, of light, of something we couldn’t quite explain. We didn’t want to change what it was ... just give it a new kind of life.

So slowly, piece by piece, it became this.
A place where people come to rest. To reconnect. To celebrate. And sometimes, just to breathe for a while.

It’s been really special watching others feel something here too 💙

Some things just feel like home the moment you walk in 💙

This sign has been in our entryway for nearly 5 years, quietly welcoming every guest who walks through the doors of The Trinity… and we still love it just as much as the day we got it.

It was handcrafted locally by Stacey Vissers of Winding River Creative, and it’s one of those pieces that reminds us why supporting local matters so much. There’s just something different about work made with care ... you can feel it.
