The only photo I will share here. This is the new view from the bathroom in the cottage. The window is actually heat damaged and will need to be repaired before it can be lived in during the winter. A place for Mom once we have power and water. It will take months. Take care all. Wildfires suck.

Posting that we are currently closed due to the Bald Range fire. We know that there have been houses lost. We have no idea about our property. All August reservations have cancelled with full refund and sending us concerns that it will all be good. We will update when we have more information. As we wait, like in 2018, to know what has happened to our property. Always the last to know. Volunteers are working their butts off, fire personnel pushed beyond limits. We will wait. We know of neighbour lost properties, and sending them our hugs. Our beautiful Garnet Valley has been deeply impacted by this fire.

Sorry Grape Escape Cottage is basically booked solid until early August now. If you manage to find an opening, you are lucky. Grapes are growing nicely, views are glorious. New hot tub is amazing, says the guests, but WE KNOW.

Our bookings are at full capacity every weekend until mid-August; nonetheless, we appreciate the support from travelers visiting the Okanagan and our smaller urban areas. Some mid-week slots are available. Everything is currently in bloom. 🍇 we have so many grape babies so far this year. Very exciting. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. A NEW local happening to check out.
