Trident Roadlines Inc. is an industry leader in Dry van Transportation is looking to fill the position of Safety & Compliance Coordinator to our growing team of transport professionals.
Our ideal team member will work closely with our Driver Manager to ensure all drivers and equipment are in compliance with Canada and US Safety standards.
Here are the must have skills and qualifications:
1. Sound knowledge of auditing and training Drivers on Electronic Log Books
2. Liaising with Drivers/Owner Operators and third parties, such as ICBC, WCB, Insurance brokers
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: computers, emails, faxing and phone etiquette
4. Overseeing and processing ICBC Insurance, Cargo Insurance Policies, Accident Reports
5. Ordering Border Transponders, Over-Sized Load Permits
6. Long hours/ Flexible Schedule and ability to multi-task
7. Knowledgeable in handling driver violation reports / progressive driver disciplinary policy setting
Requirements for candidates:
1. Strong knowledge of Transportation/Trucking industry, preferably cross-border liaisons
2. Attention to detail, strong command of English (both written & verbal) with excellent communication skills
3. Previous trucking experience, and/or working as customs broker, dispatcher or/ any other transportation related capacity is an asset;
4. Compensation will be based on experience, and willingness to grow into the position.
