We are in search of an energetic and self-motivated individual to join our growing sales team. This person
will be responsible for growing the company’s customer base and providing customized shipping
solutions. They will need to be excellent at building relationships and have a passion for providing an
exceptional customer experience. They will be required to handle all aspects of the shipments from start to
finish and provide timely communication to customers throughout. They will need to be highly adaptive to
different situations and remain calm under pressure.
Reports To:
o Operations Manager
Duties and Responsibilities :
o To handle all aspects of the company’s operations
o To find trucking capacity for current orders
o Build relationships with new and current carriers
o Generate new customers
o To track and trace current loads
o Inform customers of the whereabouts of their freight via email or phone
o Add new carriers to the database and update profiles
o To act as the liaison for customs invoice documentation between the shipper, carrier and customs
broker
o Entering new orders
o Negotiating rates/contracts with carriers
Qualifications:
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills (multi-lingual an asset)
o Multi-tasking skills
o Time Management skills
o Able to adapt to new software
o Excellent problem solving skills
o Able to think on your feet and make decisions quickly
o Work in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions:
This position is a home-based position. We will provide you with a cell phone and a laptop. You will be
required to have high-speed internet access. You will be required to be on a conference call with the rest
of the team during the entirety of your daily work hours.
Work Hours:
Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm
