The Langley Launcher is arriving this week in Langley! 📍

The launching gantry is almost finished building in Surrey and will next build the guideway from Willowbrook Station to Langley City Centre Station. With this, guideway construction is now about 65% complete.

A second gantry, the Surrey Sprinter, will arrive at the westernmost station - Green Timbers Station - on the Dave Barrett Extension in the coming weeks.

The Province is honouring the legacy of former premier Dave Barrett by naming the Surrey Langley SkyTrain extension the Dave Barrett Extension.

Dave Barrett served as British Columbia’s 26th premier from 1972 until 1975.

Look out from above! Check out this aerial view of Langley City Centre Station!

In May and June, crews installed precast concrete beams to build the section of the guideway at the east end of Industrial Avenue. This includes the ones over 203 Street and within the station footprint.
