❄️ Just back from Alaska… and now I understand why people keep going back. 🏔️

There’s something completely different about seeing Alaska from a cruise ship—the mountains rising straight out of the water, waterfalls everywhere, glaciers tucked deep into the fjords, and those little Alaska towns that are so much fun to explore.

We sailed from Seattle to Vancouver aboard the stunning Star Princess, visiting Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway, with scenic cruising through Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier.

And one of the best parts? An Alaska cruise can be as busy or as relaxed as you want it to be. You can head out looking for whales and bears, take a helicopter to a glacier, ride a historic railway, or simply walk off the ship and explore on your own.

After experiencing it myself, I also have a much better idea of the little things that can make a BIG difference when choosing an Alaska cruise—your itinerary, departure port, ship, cabin location (get the balcony!) and even which side of the ship you’re on.
