Heads Up, Travelers! Paving Work Starting in September!

Starting this September, we’ll be doing paving work on the airport entrance road as part of important improvements to our facilities.

Don’t worry — the airport will stay fully accessible, but you may experience some traffic delays getting in and out.

To avoid any stress, we recommend giving yourself a little extra travel time and arriving earlier than usual, especially if you have a flight to catch.

Thanks for your patience and understanding as we work to make your airport experience even better!

The Terrace-Kitimat Airport is actually owned and operated by the Terrace-Kitimat Airport Society which is a not-for-profit organization. None of the money that we receive is from the local tax base in the Community.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN...

This means everything we do is made possible by the fees that are collected by the users of the airport. From maintaining the runway to improving services for travelers, it all comes down to the support from you the user of the airport.

When you fly with us, you're not just booking a trip - you're helping keep our regional airport running strong.
