Operation Red Nose Thunder Bay Operation Red Nose is a free service and is offered to anyone who does not feel capable of driving d St. John Ambulance in Ontario is 129 years old.

Operation Red Nose was started in 1984 Quebec City by Jean-Marie De Koninck, who had two goals. He wanted to finance Universite Laval’s swimming team and he wanted to do something to fight driving under the influence. He knew that drivers leaving bars refused taxis to bring them home when intoxicated, not because of the bost, but because they wanted to have their own cars the next day. Thus came t

he idea to simply offer a confidential driving service. In Thunder Bay the organization has been in existence since 1923. John Ambulance brought Operation Red Nose to the community of Thunder Bay in 2009.
