Trucking is a safety-critical job. ⚠️

The training, equipment, and hours-of-service rules already exist.

What's missing is consistent enforcement on the operators who treat them as optional.

If you run a compliant carrier, you shouldn't be losing bids to someone willing to bend the rules to win one.

Lower emissions from Canadian trucking isn't a single fix. ♻️

It depends on equipment fleets can afford to replace, infrastructure for the next generation of trucks, and rules that keep Canadian carriers competitive with the U.S.

When standards outrun proven technology, costs climb and fleets hold onto older trucks longer, which is the opposite of the goal.

Recent proposed changes to heavy-duty NOx standards south of the border show what happens when regulators and industry work through the details together.

Advocacy is a team effort. 🇨🇦

Team Canada Elite brings together the key suppliers behind Canadian trucking, the engine builders, tire makers, insurers, fuel networks, and technology providers who keep fleets moving.

Alongside carriers, they lend their voice to CTA's work with government.

If you supply the industry, there's a seat at the table.

Driver Inc isn't a grey area. 🚨 It's tax evasion and worker misclassification that undercut honest carriers, shortchange drivers, and put unsafe equipment on the road.

If you run a compliant fleet, you've been carrying the cost of operators willing to bend the rules to win a bid.

That's finally changing, and CTA has spent more than a decade making the case for it.

The Gordie Howe International Bridge is open. 🇨🇦

It's the biggest North American trade investment in a generation, and a faster, more reliable link across the busiest stretch of the Canada-U.S. border.

Political tensions may have cancelled the joint ribbon-cutting, but the bridge's purpose is unchanged: an economic lifeline connecting two great trading nations.

Cross-border trucking is the backbone of the Canada-U.S. economy. 🇨🇦

Over 10 million trucks make that crossing every year, and roughly two-thirds of Canada's trade with the U.S. moves by truck.

Tariffs and sudden policy shifts drive up freight costs, jam the border, and raise prices for families.

They also stall the long-term investment carriers rely on to plan fleets and sign contracts.

The industry needs a stable, rules-based relationship under CUSMA, and CTA keeps pressing both governments to protect it.
