Confession time: We are docked in beautiful Bonaire, the sun is shining, the turquoise water is calling… and I haven’t moved from this spot on my verandah.

After a week of back-to-back sailing schedules and high-level strategy meetings with my Travel Supplier Partners, I realized the most "productive" thing I could do today wasn't a shore excursion. It was choosing the JOMO (Joy of Missing Out).
There’s a strange guilt in the travel world—the feeling that if you aren't "doing it all," you're failing the trip. But there is a specific kind of magic that happens on an empty ship. The noise stops, the lines disappear, and for the first time all week, I can actually hear my own thoughts.
Sometimes, the best destination isn't a coordinate on a map. It’s the mental space you finally allow yourself to inhabit.
