What are you reading?

While I’m always dreaming of beautiful beaches and mountain views I can’t deny I love the vibes of a cozy Saturday backyard read.

So are you doing a backyard read, hanging on the couch, locked in a closet so the kids can’t find you 😂 or maybe you have a beautiful view…all reading locations welcome!

And obviously I’ll be creeping the comments to get book recommendations 😂

As Chapters & Chill grows I’m also learning as a small business owner and I’ve realized what I’ve been doing isn’t sustainable in the long run…

So we are officially entering our slow burn launch era 🔥

So as things are going to run a bit differently I wanted to share the new process and a few changes:

The Collective → is our paid membership community. It’s an intentional positive space for romance readers to connect, low pressure book clubs and fun games and activities. Plus they get first access to retreat bookings.

The Inner Circle → is my email list which you can join for free! You get early booking access a week before everyone else.

So in our slow burn era there will be slower launches. More time to actually tell you about the story behind each trip. And hopefully a much less frazzled founder who doesn’t have to book 40 rooms in one workday 😂

This is your sign to book a reading retreat in Jamaica where the only scheduled activity is time to read. 📚🌴🥂

Five nights at Sandals South Coast with no kids in sight. Read with the sound of the ocean waves as your backdrop while you devour your latest romance novel. Eat food you didn’t cook, sleep in a bed you don’t have to make. This is your permission slip to treat yourself and do nothing for 6 days.

And when you feel like being social we have a built in community of other romance readers doing the same thing.

Chat tropes with new friends over cocktails, trade book recs at dinner or see if someone wants to put their book down to go snorkeling if you feel like it.

Apparently I have absolutely no intention of calming down in 2028 😂📚✈️

I’ve been working behind the scenes on what I hope our 2028 Chapters & Chill calendar will look like and…she’s looking VERY good.

We’re talking Caribbean sunshine and reading days, doing absolutely nothing at an all-inclusive, our Euro summer moment, sailing through Norwegian fjords, wandering around Scotland and probably at least one or two more ideas that I really should stop thinking about but absolutely will not. 😂

Some of these will be Reading Retreats - the trips where the whole point is to slow down, read your book and let someone else take care of you.

And some will be our Romanticize & Roam Collection - bucket-list places, beautiful experiences, books and community woven throughout and the freedom to explore as much (or as little) as you want.

Because whether you’re reading by the pool for six hours or wandering through a tiny European village with a coffee in your hand...

your time is still yours.

Booking dates for the remaining retreats are TBD as I finalize contracts and details and there mayyyy be another retreat or two sneaking onto this list. 👀
