In 2013, Kim and I joined Royal Caribbean’s Voyager of the Seas out of Tianjin, China.

The first time we arrived in Nagasaki, we ended up by Dejima Wharf, having donburi bowls and beers.

Over the years, this became our spot and our go-to meal. I mean, why fix something that ain’t broken?!

Between 2018-2020, Singapore 🇸🇬 was our home away from home.

From here, we would set sail on our Southeast Asia cruises, visiting places like Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Over the years, Shanghai and Beijing were frequent stops, as our Korea/Japan cruises would often set sail from one or the other.

Between 2013-2020, I was incredibly fortunate to see my good friend Al every time I sailed into Yokohama.

The Port of Yokohama has been the gateway to Tokyo since opening in 1859.

𝔻𝕚𝕕 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕜𝕟𝕠𝕨?

With more than 10,000 species of flora, Singapore Botanic Gardens is the only tropical garden listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The garden covers an area of 82 hectares and features a diverse collection of over 10,000 species of plants. The garden is divided into different zones, including the Rainforest, the Evolution Garden. and the famous National Orchid Garden, which features 1,000 species of orchid alone and 2,000 or so orchid hybrids.

The garden also houses a number of heritage trees, some of which are more than a century old.
