It was so incredibly easy to fall in love with Budapest. From watching the Euro Cup semi finals in the heart of the scenic square, to witnessing music and dance in every corner of the city, every day of the week! This was truly one of the most bustling cities that we have seen.

Austria’s trip included Vienna, the capital, known for its classical music heritage and stunning palaces, located in Central Europe. We also explored Hallstatt, a picturesque village in the Austrian Alps, celebrated for its breathtaking alpine scenery, historic salt mines, and as an inspiration for many world-class movies, including Frozen. In Austria, the official language is German.

Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic in Central Europe, enchanted me with its medieval charm, Gothic architecture, and Czech culture. Highlights included the iconic Charles Bridge and the historic Prague Castle. In Prague, the official language is Czech, and the currency used is the Czech koruna (CZK).

In Belgium, we visited Brussels, the capital situated in Western Europe, renowned for its stunning architecture, such as the Grand Place and Atomium, and its delectable chocolates and waffles. During our trip, the weather was quite pleasant.

We were fortunate enough to witness the world-famous Ommegang festival at the Grand Place. The Ommegang of Brussels is a traditional Ommegang, a type of medieval pageant, celebrated annually in Brussels, Belgium.

In Brussels, the official languages are French and Dutch.

In Hungary, we visited Budapest, the capital divided by the Danube River, offering a rich history and vibrant Hungarian culture, located in Central Europe.

The city is famous for its thermal baths, grand architecture, and the iconic Parliament building. In Budapest, the official language is Hungarian, and the currency is the Hungarian forint (HUF). We experienced extreme weather in Budapest, but the overall trip was amazing.

We took a private cruise ride to see the entire city from the water. We also visited the world-famous New York Café, which left us in awe with its opulent interior design resembling Versailles.
