I’m taking a very small detour from destinations and dream holidays today to share this fabulous creation! Feast your eyes on my mum’s 60th birthday cake, made by the wonderfully talented Beth 🎂

This semi-naked berry beauty, piled high with fresh strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and raspberries, looked like an absolute work of art and, I can confirm, tasted even better. Soft, moist and perfectly balanced from the first bite to the last.
