Ontario is massive, so I won’t judge if you haven’t checked these hikes off yet...but once you see them, I guarantee you’ll be adding at least one to your hiking bucket list!☀️

1️⃣Porath Mountain, Hastings Highlands
🥾Length: 3.1km
⛰Elevation: 142m
💪Difficulty: Moderate
‼️Tip: Head over to the Papineau Lake public beach afterwards for a nice swim!
2️⃣Awenda Beach Trail, Awenda Provincial Park, Tiny
🥾Length: 5.5km
⛰Elevation: 141m
💪Difficulty: Easy
‼️Tip: Go during the fall to take in all the beautiful fall colours!
3️⃣Fairy Trail, Georgian Bay Islands National Park, Honey Harbour
🥾Length: 2.5km
⛰Elevation: ~144m
💪Difficulty: Moderate
‼️Tip: This trail is in Georgian Bay Islands NP. The park is only accessed via a pre booked boat shuttle! When booking the shuttle it’s best to be dropped off on the northern part of the island to access this trail!
4️⃣Levay’s Lane & Chickadee Trail, Whitby
🥾Length: 3.7km
⛰Elevation: 10m
💪Difficulty: Easy
‼️Tip: Go to M and L Motors coffee shop for a delicious scone and drink afterwards!
5️⃣Albion Falls via Mountain Brow Side Trail, Hamilton
🥾Length: 3.7km
🏔️Elevation: 75m
💪Difficulty: Easy
‼️Tip: Make a day of it chasing waterfalls in the area! Check out Devils Punchbowl and Felker’s Falls too!
🐶All these hikes are dog friendly but must be on a leash!
