Today we celebrated the retirement of Mary-Lou after 34 amazing years with TCS! 🎉

Since joining TCS in 1992, Mary-Lou has taken on many different roles throughout her career, always bringing dedication, hard work, and a positive attitude to everything she did. While she contributed in many ways over the years, many will remember her best as the friendly face at reception — welcoming everyone with a warm smile and making people feel instantly at ease.

Her kindness, professionalism, and caring nature have left a lasting impression on everyone she’s welcomed over the years — including our team, contractors, partners, families, and visitors alike. Mary-Lou has truly been an important part of the TCS family for more than three decades.

Thank you, Mary-Lou, for 34 wonderful years of service and commitment. Wishing you a retirement filled with happiness, relaxation, new adventures, and plenty of time to enjoy all the things you love most.

On Saturday, April 25, we came together for our annual Torch Bearer Awards - an evening dedicated to celebrating the people who make Trenton Cold Storage what it is today.

It was an inspiring night filled with recognition, connection, and shared pride as we honoured 79 team members whose dedication and impact continue to set the standard and lead the way forward.

As the year comes to a close, we pause with gratitude to reflect on the journey we’ve shared. For over 120 years, our legacy has been built on trust, dedication, and a steadfast commitment to the communities we proudly call home.

From our roots in Trenton, Ontario, to facilities across Canada, Trenton Cold Storage remains devoted to strengthening local connections and delivering excellence in all that we do. We are especially excited about the opening of our new TCS Moncton site, which will allow us to better serve our partners and communities in Atlantic Canada.

🚨 Join Our Team – Trenton, ON 🚨
Trenton Cold Storage is hiring Order Pickers for a 3-month contract to help with the busy holiday season!

📌 Position Details:
- Pay: $20.75/hr + shift premiums (Afternoons +$0.80/hr, Nights +$1.50/hr)
- Schedule: Seasonal contract, 32–40 hrs/week, now through December
- Additional: 4% vacation paid out each pay
- Opportunity: Chance for a FT permanent position at the end of the contract

⏰ Shifts (Mon–Fri, subject to business needs):
- Days – 7:30am–4:00pm
- Afternoons – 3:30pm–12:00am
- Midnights – 11:30pm–8:00am
- Or Mon–Thurs Mid-day – 11:00am–9:30pm

🛠️ Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect & unload trailers
- Put away product using material handling equipment
- Pick & prepare orders accurately using RF scanner technology
- Load trailers for shipping

✅ Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
- Comfortable working in -18°C conditions
- Reliable, detail-oriented & able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Warehouse experience is an asset (in-house MHE training provided at TCS)
