Embarkation day on a Disney Cruise to Alaska is a vibe. From checking in at Canada Place in stunning Vancouver, to a grand welcome to Disney Magic, come along as I spend my first day onboard.

This is just the beginning of our journey to Alaska aboard Disney Cruise Line. As a Vancouver local (lower mainland raised, island living now) I’m a Disney Cruise Alaska expert and I can’t wait to bring you along as I sail not once, but twice to Alaska - that’s right, I am sailing back to back!

Now this embarkation day didn’t follow our typical order, which I share with my clients in their custom itineraries. As a group of 8, we followed the kids lead which involved lots of pool time and a handful of rides on the Aqua Dunk. Plus, sailing along the gorgeous west coast, we couldn’t tear our eyes off the scenery and we spent as much time outside as possible.

Embarkation day on a Disney Cruise to Alaska is such a vibe. From arriving at beautiful Canada Place in Vancouver and checking in for our cruise and clearing customs, to finally stepping onto the Disney Magic, follow along as I spend my first day onboard.

From the first soft serve ice cream to sail away under the Lions Gate Bridge, embarkation day is one of my favourite days of a cruise. There’s nothing like watching Vancouver disappear behind you as seven nights of Alaskan adventure await.

This is just the beginning of our journey to Alaska aboard Disney Cruise Line. As a Vancouver local (Lower Mainland raised, island living now), I’m a Disney Cruise Alaska expert, and I can’t wait to bring you along as I sail not once, but twice to Alaska. That’s right… I’m sailing back-to-back! 14 nights on Disney Magic, double the Alaska adventure!
