Disney Cruise Line Fall 2027 through Spring 2028 Release!!
What’s NEW & What I’m Excited About After Obsessively Digging Into The Options

🎉 Fall 2027 + Spring 2028 Disney Cruise Line itineraries are HERE! 🎉

I’ve gone through the entire release and there are a LOT of sailings and new options to sort through.

Rather than give you a giant list of dates, here are the things that jumped out at me and the sailings I think are worth paying looking at.

🇨🇦 TWO Vancouver → San Diego sailings!

Vancouver friends, this is exciting!

We have two Disney ships sailing from Vancouver to San Diego in September 2027 and San Diego to Vancouver in April/May 2028!

🚢 Disney Magic — September 16, 2027
🚢 Disney Wonder — September 20, 2027
🚢 Disney Magic — San Diego → Vancouver, April 21 (early arrival 🤔 I wonder if there’s going to be another dry dock)
🚢 Disney Wonder — San Diego → Vancouver, May 4

Both are 4-night Pacific Coast sailings with three sea days. I love this option for Vancouverites because you can build a California vacation around Disneyland and then cruise your way home to Vancouver or cruise to California and go to Disneyland after.

Also - does this mean Vancouver is getting double ships Magic & Wonder for a third Alaska season in 2028?! Both arrive earlier than the Alaska season usually starts, so I’m curious to see what happens when Alaska 2028 gets released (by the way, join my new group to learn more about that -

🛳️ The Panama Canal is back!

The Disney Magic has TWO 14-night Panama Canal crossings:

➡️ November 4, 2027 — San Diego → Galveston
➡️ March 26, 2028 — Galveston → San Diego

These are BIG itineraries with a lot of sea days and some bucket-list ports along the way. There’s an exciting new port of call in Panama!

And that March 26 sailing falls over spring 2028…

🌸 Spring Break 2028 planning starts NOW

If you have a late-March spring break, there are some great options ranging from shorter Bahamian cruises to 7-night Caribbean sailings, Mexican Riviera/Baja options and, if you want to go BIG, that 14-night Panama Canal sailing.

If you already know your school’s spring break dates, this is the time to start looking
and locking in before the prices climb.

This gives you lots of time to plan hotels, search for seat sales, and get excited.

🇬🇧 The Disney Wish is crossing the Atlantic!

The Disney Wish will sail 12 nights from Southampton to New York on September 17, 2027.

The itinerary includes:

A Transatlantic on the Disney Wish with a stop in Newfoundland sounds like a DREAM!

🍁 Disney Cruise Line has some GREAT Canada & New England options

The Wish has a 5-night Canada & New England Halloween on the High Seas sailing with:

🍁 St. John
🇺🇸 Boston

And a 7-night Canada Halloween on the High Seas sailing with:

🍁 Charlottetown
🍁 Sydney
🍁 Halifax

If you’re a Canadian who has never considered DCL for an East Coast cruise, these deserve a spot on your list.

🎄 A Southern Caribbean Very Merrytime cruise!

This one is top of my list. I’ve been itching to do another Very Merrytime and I LOVE this itinerary!

The Disney Wish has a 7-night Southern Caribbean Very Merrytime sailing on December 3, 2027, visiting:

🇦🇼 Aruba
🇨🇼 Curaçao
🇩🇲 Dominica
🇦🇬 Antigua

A week in the Southern Caribbean AND Christmas on Disney Cruise Line? 🎄🌴

This is very different from the typical Bahamian Very Merrytime cruise and I think it’s going to be a popular option for families looking for a holiday cruise that feels a little more like a big vacation.

Aruba, Curaçao, Dominica and Antigua is a pretty fantastic lineup.

🏝️ LOOKOUT CAY + CASTAWAY CAY combinations!

This is one of the biggest things I’m noticing from this release.

There are SO many combinations that include Disney’s two Bahamian destinations:

✨ Castaway Cay
✨ Lookout Cay
✨ Castaway Cay + Lookout Cay
✨ Lookout Cay + Nassau
✨ Castaway Cay + Lookout Cay + Nassau
✨ And even multiple days at a Disney island

And this is exactly why I always tell people:

DO NOT choose your Disney cruise based on the number of nights alone.

A 4-night cruise can look completely different depending on which ports you’re visiting.

You could even do back to back 4-night cruises that offer very different experiences, and this release has some really fun combinations to choose from.

🌴 Some seriously good longer Caribbean itineraries

There are some great 6-, 7- and 8-night Caribbean options in this release, including:

🇻🇮 St. Thomas
🇵🇷 San Juan
🇸🇽 St. Maarten

🇦🇼 Aruba
🇨🇼 Curaçao
🇧🇶 Bonaire

And then mix those with Disney’s own Bahamian destinations.

🇲🇾 Disney Adventure + Langkawi

The Disney Adventure continues sailing from Singapore, with a new 4-night Langkawi itinerary throughout October, November and December 2027.

Having sailed the Disney Adventure myself, I can tell you that Singapore + Disney Adventure is SUCH a different Disney Cruise Line experience.

If Asia is on your travel wish list, consider working in a cruise in Disney Adventure. I just did it last month and I’ll definitely be doing it again!

🇲🇽 The West Coast continues Baja Mexico

The Magic and Wonder have a great mix of Baja and Mexican Riviera sailings, including:

🇲🇽 Ensenada
🇲🇽 Cabo San Lucas
🇲🇽 Puerto Vallarta
🇲🇽 Mazatlán
🇺🇸 Catalina

Plus Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime versions of several itineraries.

Hopefully we get a ship shake up on the West Coast at some point but it’s looking like Magic and Wonder will be West Coast at least through Alaska 2028!

Pacific Coastals are always a hit! Two ships, slightly varied sailing dates depending on what works best with scheduling.

Two directions on the Disney Magic. Incredible and unique ports (Panama?!?!)

🇬🇧 12-night Transatlantic on the Wish
Southampton to New York with Edinburgh, Iceland and Newfoundland. I could cry, this one is so unique and intriguing.

🍁 Canada & New England
Especially the 7-night itinerary with Charlottetown, Sydney and Halifax.

🎄 Southern Caribbean Very Merrytime
Aruba + Curaçao + Dominica + Antigua? Yes please!!

🏝️ Castaway Cay + Lookout Cay combinations
There are some great options if the simplicity of Disneys islands in the Bahamas appeal to you!

Especially the ones with a mix of Disney islands + multiple Caribbean ports.

A very different DCL vacation and one I’m excited to see more people discover.

And one epic transatlantic that includes Edinburgh, Iceland and St John’s Newfoundland as Disney Wish makes her way from Southampton to New York in September 2027!

It’s looking like the rumors are true and Disney Cruise Line just might be returning to New York City! We will find out officially tomorrow and I cannot wait. I’ve been dreaming about watching live theater on Broadway and then going on a Disney cruise and watching Broadway quality theater at Sea.

TWO Disney ships are sailing to Alaska in 2027, round trip from Vancouver!

But how do you choose between Magic & Wonder?! While they are nearly identical, there are a few key differences. Here’s a quick breakdown:

🎨 Decor: Art Deco (Magic) vs Art Nouveau (Wonder)
🍽️ Dining: Rapunzel’s Royal Table vs Tiana’s Place
🎭 Show: Tangled vs Frozen
💦 Slide: Aqua Dunk vs classic slide
🗺️ Unique port: Icy Strait Point vs Juneau

Both sail round trip from Vancouver (passports required, Canadians!), May–September.
