Introducing our guest speakers Kimberly and Aman! They’re both flight instructors and they are eager to share their experiences, tips, and tricks with you.

Learn more about them below:

Kimberly is a Class III Flight Instructor who does Freelance work in the Lower Mainland. Her flying journey started about 5 years ago in the Okanagan area. Since she started flying, she has become completely immersed in every aspect of flying—it truly is her passion!
In addition to flying, Kimberly also does a lot of work with the Ministry of Children and Family Development, as she grew up in care of herself. These are two aspects of her life that fuel her drive every single team. Kimberly is very excited and honoured to be a part of the SFU Flight Instructor night!

Aman is a Class 4 flight instructor, and the aviation bug got him hard in 2018 after he took a discovery flight - once the nose wheel came off the runway he instantly knew aviation is for him. Aman started training in March 2019 at Pacific Flying Club at CZBB. He went on to get his PPL in September 2019, followed by his CPL in December 2020. Aman remembers knowing even before his first solo that he wanted to combine his passion for helping others and aviation into instructing. This led him to a Class 4 Instructor Rating in November 2021 at Pacific Rim Aviation Academy at CYPK.
