✅ Solomon Moving’s Top Unpacking Tips

1. Start with the essentials box
Unpack the “open first” box with your daily items:
• Toiletries
• Phone charger
• A change of clothes
• Bedding and basic kitchenware
This keeps you comfortable while unpacking the rest.

2. Set up the bedrooms first
You’ll need a place to rest after a long day. Make the bed(s) so everyone has a place to crash.

3. Work room by room
Start with the most-used spaces (bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom). Unpack one room at a time to avoid overwhelm.

4. Break down boxes as you go
Collapse empty boxes right away to keep your space clear and your momentum going.

5. Clean before you unpack
Wipe shelves and drawers before filling them. It’s easier now than after everything’s in place.

6. Don’t rush it
Unpacking takes time. Aim for function first — decorations can come later.

7. Use it as a fresh start
Take the chance to declutter. If you unpack something and don’t know where to put it… maybe it doesn’t belong.

8. Keep tools and scissors handy
You’ll need box cutters, screwdrivers, and maybe Allen keys. Keep a small toolkit nearby.
