Delivery Driver (Class 5)
Company: The Furniture Ferry
Location: Victoria, BC
Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time (Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Pay Rate: CA$25 – CA$30.00 per hour based on experience.

The Furniture Ferry is a rapidly growing, family-run business in our fifth year of operation. We provide top-quality moving, delivery, and disposal services to the greater Victoria area. Our team is professional, supportive, and deeply committed to providing an inclusive, safe, and allied service to our community.
We are expanding and actively hiring!

What We Offer
• Great Environment: A relaxed, inclusive, and highly supportive team culture.
• Flexibility: Optional weekend overflow work is available for extra hours.
• Casual Style: Comfortable, casual work attire every day.

Key Responsibilities
• Driving: Safely operate a 1-ton, 16-foot cube van to multiple daily locations.
• Teamwork: Partner with a swamper to safely load, unload, and transport items.
• Assembly: Assemble and disassemble furniture using basic hand tools.
• Safety: Maintain a clean work area, assist with truck cleanup, and follow safety protocols.
• Ambassadorship: Represent our family business professionally by upholding our inclusive values.

Job Requirements
• Licence: Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence (Required).
• Experience: 3 years of commercial driving experience is preferred.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform heavy lifting and continuous physical labour.
• Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and comfort using basic hand tools.
