Moving forward I will not be doing anymore dontation builds. Over the last few months I've had my eyes opened to being used. Kindness gets taken advantage of. People not being truthful and it's costing me out of pocket to make it "right" when I know they are playing games but can't prove it. People are sh*tty and I am going to really pick and choose who I do builds for moving forward. There's like 5 steelheaders who will make that list lol.

CONTEST TIME

A little project in the works for 2025 for you walleye guys. This ones somewhat maple leafs themed. Blue guides. Blue trims. This rod will be at The Tilted Toque Wilderness Lodge this season for their guest to try. It'll be the ML setup on that rod. Im going to try and get a 2nd done this week. Whoever catches the biggest walleye at the toque this year on this stick wins a free one of there own choice in color

I think this may be the first build on this NFC blank by anyone. May aswell make it a true one off and I believe a first for a musky stick. Acrylic handles. Our newest edition to the musky lineup. The NFC SWB909-2 XRay LMX. This builds got Fuji SIC guides in gunsmoke. American tackle reel seat. Acrylic handles. At the odyssey last year you asked for smaller running guides. I used size 6 belly guides with lock wraps. Simple diamond wrap in the split. This version is the 9 ft XH up to 24 oz. I will be offering this in a 9'6 also. Base pricing will start at 750 CAD. This pictured build would be priced around the 1000 mark with the extra labour and guide upgrade. If you want a true custom musky stick you wont regret getting one of these new blanks. I stand behind my builds and these are true one of one customs. You wont see another angler with the same "custom" as you. This rods going to put some serious hurting on French River Musky this coming season.

A truly custom musky stick.

This ones on one of my newest offerings for this year. 9 ft XH up to 24 oz. We offer the most custom musky sticks on the market. When you cut corners on costs of components you cut quality to. These manufacturers doing so all still make the same in the end. Your just getting a lesser quality rod. You spend hundreds on some of these baits. Why use a rod worth as much as the bait? The rods the main factor in landing the fish. Hook set and control.

Price breakdown for 2025 on musky sticks

Models (both NFC/GLoomis)

9ft H up to 12 oz - 750

9ft XH up to 24 oz - 850

Base models include

- any handle layout of cork or eva foam up to 20 inches. Example 18 behind 6 infront with a 5 inch seat type thing. 18 is standard but 20 and 22 is becoming more popular for taller people.

Standard reel seat, black, gold or silver trim

Fuji K series concept O guides

1 trim color per guide. Example black wraps with gold band

Extras

Extensions are 25 cad

Titanium Torzite guides 300 cad

Colored Titanium guides 50 cad
(Blue, green, purple, pink, yellow, gold, and teal) price added to cost of guide set. Guides come black or chrome

Long nut reel seat 15 cad

Revolution reel seat 25 cad

Trim bands 10 per guide per color

Decorative wraps are 30 an hour with a minimum of 6 hours into the basic of wraps.

300 deposit is required per rod

Non refundable unless really good reasoning. Life does happen.

All rods have lifetime 25 year warranty on workmanship. Components are based on manufacturer warranty. Most blanks of higher quality are lifetime.

I can build on lesser blanks, like tackle industries at your own discretion.

The skys the limit of custom rods.

My base models are all on par with Thorne bros and St Croix legend series rods.

RIP to one of the most genuine people I've ever met. Steve Clark was as top notch of a human being as you could ever meet. He'd do anything to help anyone at any time. He lost his battle with cancer on Jan 1 surrounded by his family. The steelhead community lost a real beauty. Forever ripping lips Steve. It was an honor to have met you and have you fish some of my sticks. Until we meet again my friend. Rest easy and rip lips
