Attention Backpackers!

Backpacker College is conducting a survey to better understand the current problems with the student housing situation. If you’re a student who lives in off-campus student housing, please fill out our 5-minute survey!

https://forms.gle/j4tnFLdUScJaGuRW7

We’re giving away both 𝟮𝟬𝟬$ 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁 that will be counter towards your next stay with us, AND a 𝟱𝟬$ 𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱! One to either of two randomly selected participants!

We hope with the answers we receive we can better analyze and understand the evolving issues surrounding student housing, and we eventually strive to make positive and impactful change by understanding the problem more fully. So please give us your input whether you are a current or a recent graduate student, because everybody’s voices matter!

The contest winners will be decided on Feb 28th, or if we hit 1000 responses on our survey, so make sure to share with your friends and get them to offer their input as well!

Good trips come and go but bad trips are forever. The label “bad trip” covers a lot of ground. Some can be a missed connection, a rained-out parade. Other trips careen so wildly off track they make headlines. That's exactly what happened to Evan, one of our team members while he was in the Bahamas. "There was a tropical storm system coming in, which would eventually become Hurricane Sandy. Initially, my mother and I thought it was a joke; her name is Sandy,...but no..." - Evan said. Curious about what happened? Read Evan's story from the link in our bio. What's the worst thing that's happened to you on your trip?

Packing mishaps range from inconvenient (heading to the Caribbean without a swimsuit) to disastrous (discovering you left the country without your wallet), but most are preventable if you have an ultimate packing list for yourself. Care to share? 😍

It is sad for us to know that select guests have experienced unfair discrimination with a recent breach of standards by a room provider, canceling stays because others will pay more.

At Backpacker College, we say NO to unfair discrimination. We do not condone such behaviour. Our goal is to enable trustworthy, reliable, and affordable accommodation for everyone. Our guests are OUR PRIORITY.
