We hope with the answers we receive we can better analyze and understand the evolving issues surrounding student housing, and we eventually strive to make positive and impactful change by understanding the problem more fully. So please give us your input whether you are a current or a recent graduate student, because everybody’s voices matter!

Good trips come and go but bad trips are forever. The label “bad trip” covers a lot of ground. Some can be a missed connection, a rained-out parade. Other trips careen so wildly off track they make headlines. That's exactly what happened to Evan, one of our team members while he was in the Bahamas. "There was a tropical storm system coming in, which would eventually become Hurricane Sandy. Initially, my mother and I thought it was a joke; her name is Sandy,...but no..." - Evan said. It is sad for us to know that select guests have experienced unfair discrimination with a recent breach of standards by a room provider, canceling stays because others will pay more.

At Backpacker College, we say NO to unfair discrimination. We do not condone such behaviour. Our goal is to enable trustworthy, reliable, and affordable accommodation for everyone. Our guests are OUR PRIORITY.
