💳 “I already have travel insurance through my credit card.”

You might! And it might be great coverage.

But before you rely on it for a $5,000, $8,000 or $10,000+ vacation… make sure you actually know what it covers.

Some things worth checking:

✈️ Does it include trip cancellation AND interruption?
🏥 How much emergency medical coverage do you have?
📅 Is there a maximum number of days you're covered?
💰 What is the maximum cancellation amount per person or per trip?
🩺 Are there exclusions for pre-existing medical conditions?
💳 Did the entire trip need to be paid for with that specific card for the coverage to apply?

Credit card insurance can absolutely be useful, but “my card has insurance” and “my entire trip is properly insured” aren't necessarily the same thing.

Read the fine print BEFORE the vacation.

Not from an airport chair after something has already gone wrong. 😂
