Travel Tip Monday ✈️

A 5-star resort does NOT automatically mean it’s the best resort for you.

You can have a beautiful 5-star property with an average beach, quiet evenings, limited kids activities or food that just isn’t your thing.

Meanwhile, another resort might technically be rated lower but have the amazing beach, great food and atmosphere you actually want.

This is why I always say… don’t just shop by stars ⭐️

Finally made it home after a LONG weekend away for both boys’ baseball provincials ⚾️

Trying to be in two places at once was definitely a challenge, but with some help from my sister we were able to tag team the games and make it work.

Both boys played their hearts out and had a great season. Odin’s A team had a tough loss in the finals and finished 2nd in their tier. Definitely not the ending they were hoping for, but both boys learned a ton this year and are already talking about next season ❤️

Travelling to Shelburne and Liverpool this weekend also made me realize I haven’t been to either area of the province in a VERY long time… unless it was for sports 😂

There is actually so much of Nova Scotia I haven’t seen, and it made me realize I really need to explore our own province more and appreciate what we have right here.

Now we have this massive ONE WEEK break before hockey starts 🙃 Apparently that’s considered free time, so maybe I’ll get wild and plan a little fall staycation before I’m back to living in arenas again 😂
