CBP Announces that all US FAST Enrollment Centres to Reopen November 29

(TORONTO, Nov. 15, 2021) -- US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced today that all US/Canada Free and Secure Trade (FAST) enrollment centres located in the US will reopen as of November 29, and that conditionally-approved FAST applicants can apply for their appointment at US locations beginning today through the online portal.

All enrollment centres located in Canada will remain closed for the time being.

To prioritize new applicants, CBP is asking existing FAST members not to book appointments yet. Existing members are encouraged to renew their membership before their expiry date on their cards to maintain their privileges and complete their interviews later.

Individuals that are travelling in their personal vehicles to attend an in-person interview in the US must ensure they meet admissibility requirements to enter the US, and re-entry requirements for return to Canada.

The Canadian Trucking Alliance will continue to work with CBSA on the reopening of Canadian enrollment centres.
