There are a lot of assumptions people have about trucking, let us help you break open some common myths and have a clear idea on what the reality of this industry is.

1. No personal life - Many people have a misconception that truckers don’t have a personal life as the drivers are always on the road. However at 20 Lines, we have dedicated lanes and runs which help our drivers to have quality time in between their trips - Usually 48 to 60 hours.

2. Irregular Pay - Some people believe that there are no laws around how truck drivers are paid, which is absolutely false. In reality, a lot of people take up this profession as it is a good paying career. At 20 Lines, we pay our drivers via a direct deposit semi monthly. On top of that, we also pay bonus cents per mile based on experience, performance and productivity.

3. Terrible equipment and related issues - All our equipment (trucks and trailers) are new and well maintained. Our service team is an essential part of the 20 Lines family and they make sure our drivers are always safe on the road.

Lohri is a popular winter Punjabi folk festival celebrated primarily in North India.
Lohri marks the end of winter, and is a traditional welcome of longer days and the sun's journey to the northern hemisphere by people in the northern region of the Indian subcontinent.

Makar Sankranti marks the transition of the Sun from the zodiac of Sagittarius to Capricorn. The festival is dedicated to the solar deity and is observed to mark a new beginning. Makar Sankranti is observed with social festivities such as colourful decorations, rural children going house to house, singing and asking for treats in some areas, melas (fairs), dances, kite flying, bonfires and feasts.
