We provide scheduled passenger service, charters, and cargo service throughout Manitoba and Nunavut. Joining the Calm Air Community is a great way for you to hear about exciting upcoming events, flight deals, contests, and more! Today we celebrate National Flight Attendant Day.

Behind the uniform is a highly trained aviation professional. Today’s Flight Attendants are multi‑skilled, safety‑focused professionals who play a critical role in every journey.

They wear many hats, often all on the same flight:

•Service professionals, providing in-flight service, comfort, care and connection while helping passengers feel welcomed throughout their journey
•Safety managers, conducting safety briefings, monitoring the cabin, and ensuring emergency equipment is ready for use
•EMTs, prepared to assist passengers during medical emergencies using onboard medical equipment.
•Firefighters, trained to respond to onboard fires, smoke, including lithium battery incidents, quickly and effectively
•Security professionals, remaining alert to potential security concerns, de-escalating tense situations and helping maintain a calm and orderly cabin environment during flight
•Childcare specialists, assisting families and supporting young travellers when needed.
