You’ll be part of a crew working on tie replacement, track repairs, surfacing, and general railway maintenance in a fast-moving industrial environment.

When our friends at Diageo in Gimli Manitoba needed assistance, we were more than happy to assist!

Diageo owns and operates the massive whisky production facility just outside Gimli, Manitoba. This plant is where the famous Crown Royal Canadian whisky is mashed, distilled, aged and stored on a huge scale, with an estimated one million barrels aging on-site. Crown Royal from Gimli is one of Canada’s most iconic whiskies and a major economic contributor in the region, supporting local jobs for years.

Their trackmobile had broken down, and they had trucks to load, and nothing to move the railcars into their facility. Prairie Rail Solutions was able to send out another Trackmobile to their site within 24 hours, ensuring that operations returned to 100%.
