We are a medium sized trucking company looking for a skilled Billing and Accounts Receivable Clerk to provide financial, administrative and clerical services. Accounts receivable duties include but is not limited to: • Ensuring that all completed freight movements are invoice in a timely manner, and maintaining aged receivables and making collections calls as necessary. • Verifying accuracy of information and invoicing approximately 1000 freight movements per month • Gathering and accurately entering information on new customers and following up to ensure that correct billing practices are followed so that there is no delay in payment • Other data entry and reconciliations as necessary Experience in the trucking industry will be given preference but is not a prerequisite for the position. Reporting to the Owner, the Sr. Accountant is a self-motivated accounting professional who will:
Prepare & present: monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages & operational reviews for the management team.
Prepare ad-hoc reports & analysis to support & optimize operational decision making
Support business development activities by leading relevant planning and analysis.
Identify & analyze financial variances.
Develop & implement the finance, treasury, and tax frameworks.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1. 5 + years of business accounting/bookkeeping experience
2. Post Secondary education in Business
