Check out these shots from last Friday's project in Windsor! We had a tight 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM window to deliver 8 specialized modular sections for our customer Z Modular and our crew absolutely nailed the timing.

Each one of these sections weighs a staggering 26,000 lbs and measures over 28 feet long (342.25" x 151" x 141.75"). These aren't just oversized loads; they are the actual building blocks for a massive new multi-story development happening right here in the city. 🏢

Massive load on the move! The DFS Projects team recently handled the cross-border transport of this Caterpillar 352 excavator, bringing it all the way from the Mid-Atlantic Terminal in Baltimore, MD, to Toromont CAT in Kanata, ON.

Yesterday, our team pulled off a massive, synchronized operative moving an entire fleet of heavy rail maintenance equipment from !

We picked up this massive lineup in York, ON, and delivered it straight to North Bay, ON. From 8am to 4:30am, it was a non-stop, action lifting and setting these beasts right down onto the rail. Swipe to see the equipment we moved.

Now THAT is how you make an entrance! 😎

Last Thursday, our team took on a major delivery challenge in Mississauga, bringing an 80' L x 15'6" W x 15'2" H Leisure suites modular home right to a customer’s backyard. It took a massive crane, careful planning, and a lot of skill to lift this home safely over the trees and place it perfectly onto its new foundation.

We love jobs like this because they show exactly what our crew is capable of. No matter how big the load or how tight the space, we get the job done safely and efficiently.

A big thank you to everyone on-site who worked together to make this delivery a total success! 🚛💨

Efficiency starts long before the wheels turn. 🛠️

We recently managed a high-stakes delivery of a massive gear box, arriving via ship from Belgium and destined for British Columbia. Now that the load is safely on the move, we wanted to share a behind-the-scenes look at the precision required for a haul of this magnitude.

At DFS Projects, our "safety-first" culture means:

Specialized Equipment: Utilizing a 13-axle combo (129 feet in total length) to ensure perfect weight distribution for the 235,090 lb gross weight 137,000 lb payload).

Precision Routing: Careful coordination with port authorities and state departments to maintain strict compliance with our 13’ 6” height clearance.

Site Security: Adhering to strict site protocols by waiting until the load is off-site to share project updates.

When it’s too big for the other guys, it’s just right for us. From the Port of Hamilton to the West Coast, we move the heavy stuff safely. 🏔️🚛
