To celebrate International Women’s Day, we are proud to share the story of one of our AMEs - Faye!

Faye decided to follow this career path when she was young. For her, joining the aviation industry helped her to build herself as an individual with all the experiences that she is gaining.

No matter what she currently works as, either an AME or a pilot, she says that working in the Aviation industry is a matter of pride.

When asked what she would say to young girls who are told that they can’t because of their gender Faye says ‘If I could give any advice to young girls who were told that they cannot do a certain job because of their gender, it would be to know that they are more capable and better than they think. I believe that this kind of job does not require any specific gender to fit in, as long as you have the determination and willingness to work hard, as well as having dedication towards your job, you’ll make it through to your dream.’
