WHY BOBI WINE IS SILENTLY WINNING HATERS

His resilience, determination, courage, flexibility and being approachable have helped him to overcome every form of discouragement and piracy against his presidential bid and political career

Bobi wine knew that his political life as Mr KYAGULANYI was never going to be a bed of roses. He was aware that his life was never going to be the same.

What Bobi wine is currently leading is not just opposition against the ruling government but rather a fight between the rich/oppressor and the poor/oppressed. For so long our people have been victims of the regime that is selfish, cruel and corrupt , characterised with unfair distribution of state resources, nepotism and impunity. The gap between the poor has since widened during the 35yrs of NRM in power.

Mr KYAGULANYI has offered himself as a sacrifice to the struggle, he represents the ghetto ideas.

✍️ The ghetto people in most cases are those with poor grades due to lack of finances to attend first class schools

✍️ Ghetto people survive on one meal a day
✍️ Ghetto People suffer the highest rate of unemployment and most cases sleep in congested places with poor sanitation.
✍️Ghetto people were never consulted about the way they wanted to be governed UNTIL one son of the ghetto went to parliament.

Now everyone is looking for the ghetto

Friends,

I greet you all. The struggle is alive. None of our demands have been met. Several of our colleagues, including me and the Guild Speaker are still detained at Wandegeya Police Station. I commend you all for peacefully standing up for what is Just even when you are faced with blackmail and intimidation of suspensions from Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe.

If you dearly feel that the demand for affordable Education is a fundamental right for you or anyone that you know of: your friends, your neighbors, your family, both current and future generations then you have reason to rise up tomorrow.

I'm informed that plain clothed security operatives continue to torment students in their rooms, and that some have been brutally tortured and admitted to medical facilities. From now on, stay calm, but be intelligent. Self-defence is no offence.

Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe clearly stated that it was President Yoweri Museveni who instructed him to exorbitantly hike tuition fees. Let him return to President Museveni and inform him that WE REJECT the increment and demand its immediate halt. Why does it have to bother him and not the President when we demonstrate against the increment if he was only a messenger? Why doesn't he leave way for the President to intervene in the matter?

Our demands still stand:

1. Immediate reinstatement of all suspended students and those detained behind cells
2. Immediate halting of the Cumulative 15% tuition policy
3.Immediate degazzetement of the Guild Electoral Reforms
4. Immediate improvements in sanitation of Halls of Residence

There shall be no negotiations with colleagues on suspension and some in detention.

In the regard, the peaceful demonstrations continue tomorrow
