We loved visiting St. Mortiz. The hiking around Piz Nair and Lake Suvretta is gorgeous. You take two funiculars from town and then a cable car. We. walked from the top back to the middle station.

Monet's Gardens in Giverny are beyond beautiful. For fewer crowds, visit during the week. The onsite gift store and cafe are wonderful, too.

Les Andelys is a charming group of tiny villages along the Seine. High above is Chateau Gaillard, built by Richard the Lionheart. A walk up here is a must do!
