Aruba trip notes: Aruba calls itself “One Happy Island,” and honestly, it really does feel that way. It is easy in the best way: sunny, welcoming, colorful, and not the kind of place where you feel like you need a complicated plan to have a good time.

The beaches are beautiful, of course. Clear blue-green water, soft sand, warm breezes, and that instant vacation feeling. There are lots of restaurants, plenty of easy resort areas.

The Natural Pool, the caves, the rugged coastline, the Fofoti trees, and the wilder side of the island all add a really nice mix. It’s still a relaxing beach trip, but with just enough adventure to make it more memorable. Definitely worth getting out of the beach chair for, at least for a little while 😉

Overall: sunny, easy, colorful, and very vacation-friendly. Aruba is one of those places that works well when you want warmth, pretty beaches, good food, and a trip that feels refreshingly low-stress.
