5,000 seedlings planted and another 5,000 to come! 🌱

A big shout-out to our colleagues in Kenya! More than 45 team members came together at Uplands Forest Station in Kiambu County for our Green Skies Kenya tree-planting initiative.

Working alongside the Kenya Forest Service, our aviation partners and local communities, they planted 5,000 tree seedlings to help restore Kenya’s forests and make a positive difference to the environment around us.

Our main partner, NCBA Bank, donated 10,000 seedlings, with the remaining 5,000 set to be planted over the coming months.

Thank you to everyone who rolled up their sleeves and got involved. We’re proud to see our colleagues bringing this initiative to life! 👏

🍁 Ice hockey, maple syrup, Céline Dion… Canada has given us plenty to be thankful for!

But this Canadian Thanksgiving, we’re celebrating our 2,200+ colleagues across Canada! 🙌

From the ramp and cargo warehouse to our lounges, their teamwork and care help keep flights moving safely and help passengers feel supported throughout their airport journey.

Since our start in Montreal in 2002, we’ve grown to operate at 11 airports, with our people at the heart of that journey.

Happy Thanksgiving to our Canadian colleagues and their families, and thank you for everything you do!

Who needs the gym when you’ve got a Boeing 737 to pull? 💪

Colleagues from our cargo, safety and fuelling teams at Chicago O’Hare joined forces to pull a United Airlines aircraft weighing around 43 tonnes — roughly the weight of seven large elephants! 🐘

They moved it 12 feet in just 8.1 seconds, raising $5,275 for Special Olympics Illinois!

Together with 119 other teams, they helped bring the event’s fundraising total to more than $230,000 to support athletes across Illinois.

A huge well done to everyone who took part, donated and cheered them on! 👏

What a month, team Swissport! 🙌

Our second global iCare Safety Month brought colleagues together around the world to share ideas, learn from each other and put 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘 into practice:

✅ 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 when something isn’t right
✅ 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀 hazards before they become incidents
✅ 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗰𝘁 by reporting incidents and helping prevent them from happening again
✅ 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲 by making safety a conversation, not a checklist

Celebrating the people who make it happen, every day. ✈️

Over the summer we’ve been bringing colleagues together in Switzerland for a series of employee appreciation events, taking time to recognize the dedication, commitment and teamwork they bring to our operations every day. 🤝

We’ve already shared many great moments, with a few more events still coming before the end of the year! 👏

Organised together with Swiss International Air Lines as part of our ThePowerOfTeamwork initiative, these events give us the opportunity to say thank you, connect beyond our daily operations and simply enjoy some time together.

Safety is part of everything we do.

From the ramp to the cargo warehouse, passenger services to the office, it’s built through everyday actions: speaking up, looking out for each other and making safe choices. All with the same goal: keeping our people safe and every aircraft we handle cared for.

Few people have seen that culture evolve quite like Ketson Miyazawa. Since joining Swissport in 2001, he has gone from the ramp in Brazil to Global Manager for Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Standards.

This iCare Safety Month, Ketson shares what 25 years with Swissport have taught him about safety, speaking up and how Challenge, Assess, React and Engage help all of us put safety first.

Teamwork, connection and a little friendly competition! 🏆

Our Auckland team recently came together for Swissport New Zealand’s first-ever Sports Day, bringing colleagues from across the operation and from many different cultures and backgrounds together for a day of fun and team spirit.

Congratulations to Team Bula, our first Sports Day champions! 👏

It was a fantastic day celebrating our people and what makes our Auckland team special.

And yes… Sports Day 2 “The Revenge” is already being planned!

16 new apprentices. 3 locations. 1 exciting journey ahead! ✈️🚀

This summer, we welcomed 13 new apprentices in Zurich, 2 in Geneva and 1 in Basel to the Swissport family.

From Passenger Services and Cargo to Digital Business, together with login Berufsbildung, we give apprentices hands-on experience across different areas of aviation, helping them discover new fields, develop their skills and bring fresh ideas to our teams. In total, we are training 46 apprentices in 4 different trades.

We’re proud to invest in the next generation of aviation professionals, and many of our apprentices go on to build their careers with Swissport.

Welcome aboard! We can’t wait to see where your journey takes you.
