January reminded us how intense our planet is feeling right now:
❄️ A deep freeze swept parts of North America
🔥 Wildfires burned an area roughly the size of Brunei across Australia, Chile, Argentina & the US
🌧️ Floods and extreme weather hit communities worldwide

And yet, it’s not all doom. In Switzerland, the energy transition is moving (more renewables, smarter grids), and globally, early-warning systems are saving lives when extreme weather hits. Progress is real, even if it’s slower than we’d like.

Staying informed doesn’t mean staying overwhelmed.
Small actions, shared awareness, and local care still matter, especially in mountain communities like ours. Let’s make space for awareness with hope. 💚
