Last year, we celebrated 75 years of connecting the world through civil aviation. The purpose of International Civil Aviation Day is to help generate and reinforce worldwide awareness of the importance of international civil aviation. This year, the world was disrupted as well as the civil aviation industry.

The UN and the world nations are looking ahead and are embarking on a new era in global sustainable development and the importance of civil aviation to connect global communities world, adopting the Agenda 2030.

Gategroup is launching a winter trial of its Epax digital retail solution, with one of Europe’s leading airlines easyJet. This is the latest market-leading innovation from the company working in partnership with its long-term analytics partner, Black Swan Data.

For the first time anywhere in the world, passengers will be able to access a full onboard retail offering in one location from their own personal device, keeping physical contact with equipment or material onboard to a minimum.
