Guangzhou's leads in smart development, and digitalized trade: Nansha is at the forefront of China's smart port initiatives, with initiatives like the Global Quality Distribution Center Digital Service Trade Platform (DSTP) streamlining trade processes. DSTP helps enterprises connect with necessary service providers, like banks and logistics companies, on one platform. Since its launch in 2020, over 1,000 enterprises have joined DSTP.
October 2022: Guangzhou invested $1 billion to build a new 500,000 TEU at Nansha port, further enhancing its capacity and efficiency.
September 2022: The first departed Guangzhou for Europe, marking a significant step in Nansha's integration into the Belt and Road Initiative.
Nansha : As a free-trade zone, Nansha attracts foreign investment and fosters innovation in trade and finance. It has accumulated over 913 innovative achievements that are then shared and implemented across China.
These developments solidify Nansha's position as a crucial player in China's maritime trade and a leader in smart port technology and digital trade.
