Most people know Hangzhou for West Lake. But there’s much more to the city than its most famous landmark.

You can drift through the waterways of Xixi Wetland on a traditional wooden boat, surrounded by reeds, quiet canals, and a side of Hangzhou that feels far removed from the city skyline.

You can take a helicopter ride above Thousand Island Lake and see hundreds of emerald islands scattered across crystal-clear water, a view that few international visitors know exists in China.

You can walk along the shores of West Lake, visit centuries-old temples, or escape to Qingshan Lake, where a floating forest rises directly from the water and changes with the seasons.

What makes Hangzhou special isn't just one attraction. It's how easily nature, culture, and modern life come together in a single trip.

If you're looking for a destination that offers more than the usual city experience, Hangzhou deserves a place on your list. 🍃

In the middle of Qinghai’s vast desert landscape lies one of the most surreal places in China: Qarhan Salt Lake.

Covering more than 5,000 square kilometers, it’s the largest salt lake in China, famous for its mirror-like reflections, endless white salt flats, and roads that seem to disappear into the sky. On sunny days, the water reflects the clouds so clearly that the whole landscape feels dreamlike. 🤍

Qarhan is also one of China’s most important salt production areas, with salt reserves said to be enough for the world to use for centuries.

If you love places with unique landscapes and quiet, otherworldly scenery, Qinghai should absolutely be on your travel list.

Just got back from Jingdezhen, and somehow ended up bringing home a whole collection of ceramic spinners.

What surprised me most?
This isn’t just a niche thing. It’s actually becoming a trend across China.

These small handmade pieces are simple, but strangely satisfying to play with.
Every spinner feels different , the balance, the texture, the way it spins.

Jingdezhen has always been known as the porcelain capital of China,
but now it feels like even traditional crafts are finding new, modern ways to go viral.

Would you bring one home?

Known as the “last tear of the Atlantic,” Sayram Lake is the largest alpine lake in Xinjiang, sitting over 2,000 meters above sea level. In summer, the grasslands around the lake are covered with wildflowers while the water turns a deep sapphire blue under the mountain sky.

The best way to experience it? Slowly.
Drive along the lakeside road, stop for the views, watch the horses grazing freely, and enjoy the cool air even in the middle of summer. 💙

If you want to see a different side of China, peaceful landscapes, open roads, and nature that feels untouched, Sayram Lake belongs on your list.

If you only pick one place in China, make it Yunnan.

Snow mountains, quiet lakes, old towns, and food you don’t really find anywhere else.

It’s one of those places where every stop feels like a completely new trip.

Save this for your China list ✨

Wangxian Valley is one of those places that feels completely different depending on when you’re there.

During the day, it’s quiet. You’re walking along cliffside paths, with old-style houses built into the rock and streams running below.

But at night, the whole place changes. Lights come on across the valley, the buildings start to stand out against the dark cliffs, and it feels more like a staged scene than a regular village.

It’s not as widely known as other scenic towns yet, which makes the experience a bit more relaxed if you time it right.

Have you heard of Wangxian Valley before?

Jiuzhaigou is one of those places that actually looks like what you see online.

The water really is that clear, and the colors change depending on the light, so it never quite looks the same twice. It’s not just one viewpoint either, you keep walking and it keeps surprising you.

It can get busy during peak season, so when you go makes a big difference.

If it’s somewhere you’ve been thinking about, we can help you plan it in a way that’s simple and smooth.

Chongqing is one of those cities that doesn’t follow the usual rules.

The skyline isn’t just vertical, it’s layered. Roads overlap, buildings sit on top of hills, and the entire city feels built in three dimensions.

You might find yourself taking photos on a rooftop like 131, then minutes later watching a train pass straight through a residential building. It sounds unreal, but it’s part of everyday life here.

At night, the city shifts again. Hongya Cave lights up the riverside, drones fill the sky with coordinated shows, and the whole place starts to feel almost futuristic.

And then there are the quieter moments. Sitting in a mountain-view restaurant, looking out over the city from above, you get a completely different perspective.

Chongqing isn’t just somewhere you visit, it’s something you experience.

Have you seen a city like this before, and what caught your attention the most?
