Earlier this week, we made it driver’s license official for the move to Florida. 🤪

We found a little local dive bar/grill and are meeting some of the NICEST people. One gentlemen moved from Central Pa 12 years ago. We are a couple doors away from a couple that moved from Reading, Pa. Small world.

My office is 95% set up. Super cozy space for me to search for those great next trips you have been dreaming of.

We are adjusting to Florida life and the wicked storms that come through most every afternoon this time of year.

Loki is NOT a fan of the storms. They aren’t like Pennsylvania storms. The gentle rumbling. These storms are loud/booming. The house will echo the thunder.

Adjustments are being made.

My husband and I enjoyed an evening in Disney Springs the other day. Loki was home…not enjoying himself. 😞.

We got to check out Halloween merchandise…in August. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party starts Friday (August 7). We will go on the 23rd.

September 18-24, I will go to Disneyland and experience Oogie Boogie Bash on the 20th. This is their Halloween Party in Disney California Adventure Park.

Thinking about going to Walt Disney World and want to experience the parks as well as MNSSHP? Or travel to Disneyland and attend Oogie Boogie Bash? Both are ticketed events with there still being availability.

What is your favorite part about Halloween? Mine? When living in Pennsylvania, the crisp of the air. It wasn’t till my granddaughter was born that I started to actually decorate and get into the spirit of Halloween.

I do LOVE the Headless Horseman and Gravediggers in the parade. 🥰😊

This year will be a bit different and I am looking forward to seeing what Halloween brings in Florida.

You ever tell yourself, when you go on a roller coaster, I’mma let go with both hands and raise them high? That was me. I said that. I got on Tron. We were in the last row. Got all ready to raise both arms high to the sky. That sucker launched and my one arm said…NOPE, my arm/hand is gonna hang on for dear life. It decided it was gonna be the “adult” at this party. The designated driver, if you will.

When you ride a coaster, you like the front or back? What about your arms? Raise them high in the air like ya just don’t care? Or are your arms being “boring?” Half and Half?

When my husband and I decided to move to Central Florida, I made a promise to myself and everyone else....continue to learn and grow. Today, I finished my Sandals/Beaches Training. I had done it back in 2023. Today was to make sure I updated myself so that I can properly guide you to your next resort and create those memories.

Small update as to why it has been so quiet over here of late.

On 7/9/26, my husband and I officially sold our home of 23 years. We went through an absolute crazy whirlwind from mid May to this date and still going. From prep, listed, contract, pack/purge, find a home in Florida, to SOLD was 6 weeks. INSANITY.

I have wanted to move to Florida since 2014, if not sooner.

Hang on there with me just a bit longer, please.

We are currently on our way to Florida to get the keys to our new house on 7/12. Fly back to Pa for our dog(Loki), 2 old cats (Annabelle and Tigger) and our motorhome. Our belongings will be at our new house by 7/18.

Things will settle, eventually. Apparently, I thrive on controlled chaos. 🤣🤣🤣

I appreciate everyone so much and your patience. One of my goals is more social media to bring content and travel tips/advice/love/friendship. I love helping others make memories.

Through this entire moving process I have learned….things are just physical things that get lost, shredded, faded. Memories, you carry with you and last forever without degrading.

Things are quite literally moving along over here.

Does that mean I can’t help anyone that is wanting to book travel? Nope. My laptop is portable. I am portable. My office space is now the staging area.

Settlement, on our home of 23 years, is quickly approaching. Less than 2 weeks. I could use some travel diversion. 😂

Let’s put that bucket list trip onto your countdown calendar.

I sit among these boxes and humbly ask for your patience. We are packing our home of 23 years and relocating from Pennsylvania to Florida.
