🌿✨ A journey through the natural beauty of Guanacaste 🇨🇷

From the breathtaking ocean views at the Marbella lookout point to a delicious lunch by the beach in Pelada 🌊

Along the way, nature gave us incredible moments: a black hawk 🦅, howler monkeys 🐒, a crested caracara, a pair of green parakeets 🦜, cows, and even a beautiful cotton tree. 🌳

And to end the day, we enjoyed a beautiful sunset in Ostional with my daughters. 🌅👩‍👧‍👧

Costa Rica is not only a place to visit… it’s a place to explore, connect with nature, and create beautiful memories with your family. 💚🇨🇷

🌿 A Special Costa Rican Experience

After enjoying one of Costa Rica’s beautiful waterfalls, we will continue our journey to a wildlife rescue center and sanctuary.

Here, you will have the opportunity to see some of Costa Rica’s amazing wildlife and learn about the important work being done to rescue, protect, and care for animals in need. 🦥🐒🦜🐆

Some animals live in protected enclosures because they have been rescued from illegal trafficking, accidents, human interaction, or other difficult situations. Unfortunately, some are unable to return to the wild, so the sanctuary provides them with a safe environment, food, medical care, and lifelong protection.

The visit is designed to be an educational and meaningful experience, giving you a better understanding of Costa Rica’s wildlife and the importance of conservation. 💚🌴

After this wonderful experience, we will continue with our private transportation to the airport, making the most of your last moments in Costa Rica. ✈️🇨🇷

🏺 Guaitil Handicrafts

Guaitil, in Guanacaste, is famous for its traditional handmade pottery, a craft deeply rooted in the culture and heritage of the Chorotega Indigenous people.

Local artisans use natural clay and traditional techniques to create beautiful pieces such as bowls, vases, plates, animal figures, and decorative objects. Many designs are inspired by nature, animals, and ancient Chorotega symbols.

Each piece is carefully shaped, decorated, and fired by hand, making every item unique.

Guaitil pottery is much more than a souvenir. It is a beautiful way to preserve and share the history, traditions, and Indigenous heritage of Guanacaste.

🇨🇷 Costa Rica’s Independence Celebration

On September 14th, Costa Rica celebrates the arrival of the Independence Torch, known as the Torch of Freedom. The torch travels through Central America and across Costa Rica, passing from community to community and from student to student. It symbolizes freedom, unity, and the independence of Central America, which was declared in 1821.

🏮 The Lantern Festival – September 14th

On the evening of September 14th, families and especially children celebrate by carrying beautiful handmade lanterns, called “faroles.” The lanterns symbolize the light and hope brought by the news of independence.

🇨🇷 September 15th – Independence Day

On September 15th, Costa Rica officially celebrates Independence Day with school parades, marching bands, traditional music, and patriotic activities. It is a very special celebration for Costa Ricans and a wonderful opportunity for visitors to experience the country’s culture and traditions.
