Our program has been operating since 2013 and has proudly hosted over 3,000 abroad experiences for individuals as well as groups.

Thus far, we have supported over 200 project sites in Costa Rica. Hibiscus Travels is a local NGO, based and operated out of our program housing in Ciudad Cortés and Puerto Jiménez, Costa Rica. We are devoted to positive international cultural exchanges by developing individual and community potential in rural communities. Our motto is: "Together, we believe that the best in each of us enriches all of us." We offer affordable, meaningful experiences abroad for educators, mentors, interns, students, and volunteers.
