🚨 EMERGENCY FOOD ALERT: NUSLE SECTOR REPORT! 🚨

STATUS UPDATE: Operation “Feed the Skinny Agent” successfully executed at U Bansethů.

SITUATION BRIEFING: Subject (me) deployed to a legendary Prague culinary landmark, U Bansethů, known for its historical ties (Hašek drank here, obviously) and serious Czech fare. Mission objective: Prove skinny individuals can handle proper Czech food.

FIELD OBSERVATIONS:
🦆 Deployment: Crispy duck leg.
🥔 Anomaly: Potato pancakes hidden INSIDE the leg. (Highly irregular, but delicious. Do NOT inquire further.)
🥬 Side Note: Cabbage was sweet. Personal preference leans sour, but mission parameters dictate adaptability.

CONCLUSION: Consumption of duck is less about the meat, more about the crispy skin and the profound feeling of surviving another chapter of Czech history. The atmosphere is authentic chaos: locals, 100-year-old furniture, and a Myna bird that definitely knows too much.

CRITICAL FAILURE: Unable to charge vital communication device 🪫 . Field agent now resorting to manual locomotion (walking home) to maintain current operational slimness.

☕ Hidden Gem Alert! ☕

As a true coffee lover, a sunny Sunday calls for a walk and a good cup of coffee. This unique café is set in a former sewer station from 1906, which operated until 1967. Now, it’s been transformed into a stylish coffee spot with history and character.

🎬 Fun fact: This location even made it to Hollywood, appearing in Mission Impossible IV and Blade!

GRANDPARENTS VISIT 👵👴

This weekend I visited my grandparents, and let me tell you, my stomach is happy! 🤩

My grandma cooks the most delicious and authentic Czech food. 🥘 The best part? Most of the ingredients are homegrown fruits and vegetables from their garden. 🫑🫛🍅🍎🍒🧄

It’s fascinating to see how much time and effort they put into gardening. While it can sometimes be easier and cheaper to buy vegetables at the supermarket, there’s something special about homegrown produce. 🫶

Her pickles are legendary, too. I finally convinced her to teach me how to make them this year. 🥒🫙

In the meantime, I’m thinking about all the fun things I’ll miss:
