First Dynamic WT-9 arrival at Spruce Creek - and not just any airfield.
7FL6 is one of aviation’s rare places where the runway sits at the center of the neighbourhood: 4,000 ft / 1,219 m of paved, lighted runway, GPS approach, miles / kilometres of taxiways, hangar homes, golf carts, and aircraft sharing the same daily rhythm.
More than 5,000 residents live here, with hundreds of aircraft based around the community - often quoted at around 600-700 aircraft.
A private fly-in community with roots in a WWII naval airfield, and probably one of the few places where arriving by aircraft feels more natural than arriving by car.
