Meet our team. This time, say hello to Štěpán.
A career at EGT that began back in 2008, while still a student, driving vans and delivering shipments across Europe. At that time, EGT Express was still known as Ergas Trans.
After graduating from university and spending a year as an international dispatcher for another company, he returned to EGT Express — this time behind a desk in the office, taking responsibility for the Moldova destination. Six years later, his career took him to Perth, Australia, where he spent two years broadening his logistics experience as a Project Manager for a New Zealand logistics company.
When he returned to the Czech Republic, EGT Express was just beginning to build a brand-new air freight service. Together with his colleagues, he helped develop it from the ground up and shape it into the service it is today.
One of the most memorable moments of his career so far was representing EGT Express at the Czech-Mongolian Business Forum in Ulaanbaatar. Presenting the company in front of hundreds of participants was a completely new experience — and one he will certainly not forget.
This year brought another important change. After years in logistics operations, he moved into the commercial side of the business and took on the role of Sales Manager. His operational background remains a major advantage for upcoming work.
Outside work, much of his recent free time has been dedicated to completing the family home. After several years of construction, he can now finally enjoy the finished house and garden activities with his family.
