For those of you in the area and intersted in attending. USAG Ansbach Community

TODAY - MARCH 29 at 11 a.m.: American Legion Post 1982 will be hosting an Observance Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War with a cake cutting and display at the Urlas community PX mall, Thursday March 29th at 11 a.m. Ansbach community Vietnam Veterans will be honored as well as their families, especially families who lost loved ones during the conflict. Everyone is invited to attend. Post 1982 representatives will be giving pins and awarding certificates at the Urlas shopping complex to Vietnam Veterans (and widows) March 29, 30 and 31 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration is a program administered by the Office of the Secretary of Defense. The U.S. began commemoration of the Vietnam War’s 50th anniversary in 2012 and will continue through Veterans Day 2025.
