Three’s a party, and Heiner van Husen is number three of the MAKARA founders‘ team. He has a literature and ethics background, is an experienced writer and communication expert. At MAKARA, Heiner develops communication concepts and curates the company's philosophy. But if there’s a new boat model or route to test, he’s the first to leave his desk and jump into the cockpit.

Peter Kremer is MAKARA's business mastermind. After working for more than 10 years as a consultant in world-leading car and IT companies in Germany, the Netherlands, and the US, Peter decided to follow his passions by founding a company together with his two old friends Immanuel and Heiner.

A born communicator, Peter loves creating partnerships and networks of valuable people. This way, he built up a team of MAKARA enthusiasts who contribute their individual talents to bringing this awesome boat into the world. Needless to say, we‘re literally all in the same boat, and we love it!

Meet Immanuel Braun, one of the three inventors of Makara.

What can be said about Immanuel? Well, he was the one designing and developing the Makara prototype. His great eye for detail and engineering skills arise from more than 10 years of precision carpentry and a formal education in modern sculpture. His vision: Creating THE perfect boat. And perfect means: uniting the boater’s needs and desires with sustainable solutions.
