Looking back, this season was about much more than smooth operations. It was about the people behind it all – the dedication, the shared passion, and the teamwork that make everything possible. Because in the end, aren’t the best journeys always the ones we create together? Your support, reliability, and close cooperation have once again made a real difference.

Building on this strong foundation, the launch of our newest ship, the Mekong Star, became a truly special highlight. Experiencing the creation of a new vessel firsthand was both exciting and inspiring – from its generous cabins and thoughtfully designed spaces to the warm, comfortable atmosphere on board. Seeing the Mekong Star now exploring the river with happy guests on board fills us with pride and gratitude. This milestone would not have been possible without the trust and support of everyone involved.

Of course, we owe a huge part of this season’s success to our incredible crews in Laos. We’re back on track! 🚂 With the first departure of the Orient Silk Road Express in 2026, this year’s Silk Road travel season has officially begun.

In close cooperation with our partners from the Uzbekistan Railways, the train is currently taking guests from around the world along one of the most fascinating routes imaginable: through the historic cities of Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva.

For us, this moment is special every year: the first train, the first encounters, and the revival of a route that has stood for cultural exchange for decades. We’re looking forward to an inspiring season and many more journeys along this unique route.
