Voice-Acoustic at the POP UP RAVE in Rotenburg 🇩🇪

The event felt a bit like a blind date: you bought a ticket without knowing where the party would take place. It wasn’t until shortly before the start that the organisers of the second pop-up rave in Rotenburg (Wümme) finally revealed the location. The route led to the Hohenesch industrial park, where an extraordinary techno venue had been created among shipping containers for one night only.

More than 750 people made their way there, five times as many as at the premiere. Starting at 9 p.m., they danced until the early hours of the morning to sets by nine DJs, accompanied by laser, fog and flame effects.

Bjarne Wichern of BW Eventtechnik from Wohnste, Germany 🇩🇪 (www.bw-eventtechnik.de) was responsible for lighting, sound, and stage technology. In order to provide sound coverage for the open industrial space, he relied on a Voice-Acoustic system consisting of two VENIA-8s, which were suspended from the truss using Easy Fly Mechanics. In the low-frequency range, eight Paveosub-118s and four Paveosub-121s complemented the setup as an end-fire array in a staggered configuration. The system was powered by one VADAS-8K4D and two VADAS-12K4D system amplifiers. Throughout the event, the entire system was monitored and controlled in real time via Powersoft ArmoníaPlus software, providing continuous insight into all critical system and amplifier parameters. Signal distribution was handled via an Allen & Heath SQ5.

Salón Camarena – Mexico City, Mexico 🇲🇽
A Voice-Acoustic project by Hi Tech Audio México

Located in Mexico City, Salón Camarena (.mx) is a venue that redefines the nightlife experience through the integration of music, technology, and culture. Conceived as a tribute to Guillermo González Camarena, the Mexican inventor of colour television, the venue builds its concept around the idea of signal and transmission to create a unique and immersive environment.

Under the concept “The signal you’ve been looking for”, Salón Camarena positions the guest as the protagonist. Through a 360° screen setup, the space fully surrounds the audience, transforming each track into a complete audiovisual experience.

Music programming plays a central role in this narrative. From Spanish and English pop to timeless classics, the venue is designed to connect with the audience through familiar playlists that encourage interaction, singing, and collective engagement. This is complemented by a social concept tailored for groups, making it an ideal space for private events and shared experiences.

In this context, the sound system becomes a key element in sustaining the overall experience. For this project, a solution based on Voice-Acoustic systems was implemented, selected for their ability to deliver uniform coverage, clarity, and control within a dynamic and immersive environment.

The installed system consists of 8x Score-5 loudspeakers, supported by 1x Paveosub-218 and 1x Paveosub-118, powered by 2x VADAS-8K4D amplifiers. To ensure optimal integration into the space, ceiling and wall mounting solutions were utilized, allowing for efficient sound distribution without compromising the venue’s visual concept.

The result is a consistent and enveloping sound experience, where every point in the venue maintains precise and balanced reproduction. This allows the visual and sonic elements to operate in full synchronization, reinforcing audience engagement with the content.

Salón Camarena establishes itself as a space where music, visuals, and atmosphere converge into a cohesive experience, positioning it as one of the emerging hotspots in Mexico City’s nightlife scene.

Daniel Knop from Buxtehude 🇩🇪 performs as the event and wedding DJ James Kuma. With 17 years of experience, he has hosted over 500 events. For his new Voice-Acoustic system he opted for 2x Score-6, 1x Paveosub-115sp-8K4 and 1x Paveosub-115 passive. And he chose them in white. Choosing white was a deliberate decision on Daniel's part. Anyone working as a wedding DJ knows that the technical equipment is always part of the overall picture. White is therefore the perfect choice: elegant, understated, and visually suited to the occasion. A very good choice! We are glad to have you on board, Daniel!

We are delighted to announce that DJ Sascha Grünhof from Malente, Germany 🇩🇪, is joining the Voice-Acoustic family. A member of the DJallianz with over 20 years experience, he has built his system around 2x Modular-10, 1x Paveosub-115sp-8K4 and 1x Paveosub-115 passive. Weddings, city festivals, clubs: he reads a crowd like an open book. From intimate receptions to large open-air events, his performances are always on point. Now his sound matches it. It was a special night at the Ole Bull Teater in Bergen, Norway 🇳🇴. On Sunday 26 April, Joséfin Winther celebrated 20 years in music with a jubilee concert featuring some of Norway's finest voices. Born and raised in Bergen, Winther has released ten albums and is often compared to artists like PJ Harvey and Patti Smith. Singer-songwriter Jan Eggum and Carl Espen Thorbjørnsen joined her on stage. And there is a nice story behind it: Winther co-wrote „Silent Storm“ for her cousin Carl Espen. The song won the Norwegian Eurovision selection in 2014.

On stage, Voice-Acoustic CXN-12 handled monitoring. With a height of only 30 cm and a weight of 14 kg, it’s one of the most compact and lightweight monitors in its class . Compact enough to stay out of the way, powerful enough to deliver. The 12" coaxial driver ensures a precise, natural sound image directly on stage. SoundcheckXpo 2026, Mexico City 🇲🇽. The 22nd edition of Latin America's largest pro audio trade show, 13,500+ m², over 320 stands, 400–500 brands from around the world. For Voice-Acoustic, it was a special one.

For the second year running, our Mexican distribution partner Hi Tech Audio México dedicated a full stand exclusively to Voice-Acoustic at Sala Olmeca IV, S5–S6. Visitors stopped. They listened. They asked questions. And they stayed. The resonance and quality of leads surpassed last year's results after day one alone. New projects in Mexico are on the horizon.

None of this would have happened without the right people. A big thank you to the entire Hi Tech Audio team: Narda, Galder, Isaac and Eduardo were on the floor all three days, answering every question and representing Voice-Acoustic with knowledge and dedication. A team performance that speaks for itself.

And a special thank you to Antonio Martinez. In just one year, he has transformed Voice-Acoustic from an unknown brand into a visible and credible presence in the Mexican market. That takes vision, trust and genuine commitment. We are grateful for all three. Thank you.
