What does “Ayni” mean?☀️

The Quechua word "Ayni" holds a powerful and inspiring message that is rooted in the Andean tradition and culture. Ayni translates to "reciprocity" or "mutual exchange" and it represents the concept of giving and receiving in a balanced and harmonious way.

It also represents a deep connection and interdependence between people, communities, and nature. It embodies the idea that we are all connected and that our actions, both positive and negative, have a ripple effect that reaches far beyond ourselves.

AYNI is a reminder that we are not alone in this world and that we must take care of each other and the world we live in🌎. It encourages us to act with kindness, generosity and compassion, and to recognize the importance of our relationships with others, with ourselves and with our planet.

As a segment of tourism, Sport tourism contributes to sustainable development and the achievement of the 17 SDGs.

It enhances physical and mental well-being, helps maintain and improve health, participants can also have positive emotions such as fun and excitement, a sense of togetherness and belonging and feelings of motivation, accomplishment and self-esteem🚴‍♂️. It helps youth achieve both educational and personal goals while having fun in a healthy way with friends or new people.

Accessible sport tourism activities can be enjoyed by visitors and residents with and without disabilities. It provides, both residents and visitors alike, with opportunities and proper spaces for the practice of amateur or professional sports or for leisure time.

Looking for a new challenge that involves adventure and beautiful landscapes? Join our Andean Trekking Training-Camp on the slopes of the Chimborazo volcano! 🌋It involves several outings as preparation walks, which include visits to cultural, natural and mystic places; workshops; theory classes and a mountain bike tour covering a distance of 35-40 km in approximately 4-5 hours.
